Gathering of TTA, TGR and MNB, 兩地三會交流, 理解跨性別X性工作者處境

By taking the chance of Miss Rasa from Thai Transgender Alliance, (http://www.thaitga.org, TTA) engaging exchange program in Hong Kong, initiated by Midnight Blue (MNB, Hong Kong), mobilized by Transgender Resource Centre (http://www.tgr.org.hk, TGR, Hong Kong), gathering of three organization is held on 18^th July 2011.

Summary of gathering

1) Midnight Blue concerns the situation of Transgender (sex worker) in prison managed by Hong Kong Correctional Service. We are angry of their policy, and hope we three organization would jointly follow.

2) Ron and Rasa from TTA share the TG situation in Thailand claims that there is a wrong impression of sexual diversity from foreigners, TG x sex workers face different kinds of discrimination everyday.

3) TGR shares the reason of their establishment and their diversity strategy in organizing members.

4) Sister’s chit chat (life, medical and surgery information) is surely is a must!

This is a touching night at a tiny Midnight Blue Drop-in Centre, Two regions x TG x sex workers mutually understanding life situation, Let’s have power to go ahead!
